Litmys Managing Partner Harris Kaplan participated in Wilson Sonsini's Third Annual Biotech Summit, held October 21–22, 2026, in Boston, following his participation as a featured speaker in a September 29 pre-conference webinar.
The webinar, Best Practices When Pitching to VCs, brought together Harris and members of Wilson Sonsini's Life Sciences Business Advisory team to share perspectives on developing compelling investor presentations, communicating value, and positioning emerging biotech companies for successful fundraising.
Harris contributed his expertise on the importance of developing a compelling product profile early in the development process. While clinical innovation is essential, understanding what physicians, payers, and patients will value, and what may prevent them from adopting a new therapy, is equally important to demonstrating a credible commercial opportunity.
The in-person Biotech Summit brought together biotech executives, investors, founders, and industry leaders to discuss financing, strategic partnerships, and the evolving opportunities and challenges facing the biotechnology industry.
Throughout the event, Harris had the opportunity to connect with industry colleagues and explore how integrating commercial considerations earlier in development can help emerging companies make more informed decisions, strengthen their investment narratives, and better position innovative therapies for real-world adoption.
Litmys appreciated the opportunity to participate in Wilson Sonsini's Biotech Summit and contribute to the ongoing conversation about translating promising science into commercial success.
